The crescent has been sighted in Saudi Arabia and it has been announced that the first day of Dhul-Hijjah will be tomorrow (Friday June 7). We make duaa for the safety of all those making the pilgrimage this year and that their Hajj may be accepted. Ameen.
For those not on the pilgrimage fasting is recommended during the the first nine days of the month, with fasting on the day of Arafah (Saturday June 15) being a strongly encouraged Sunnah.
The Eid al-Adha prayer will be held in the masjid on Sunday June 16.
Takbirat will begin at 7:45 AM with the prayer starting at 8 AM.
