With our new masjid having large indoor and outdoor spaces we expect to be able to hold the Eid prayer there this year. We will need to follow
the health guidelines at that time to determine the maximum number of people who can gather in person. The event will be broadcast over Zoom
for other community members to join remotely.
There is agreement among scholars that the Eid prayer can be observed by families and individuals
in their homes in times of unusual circumstance such as we find ourselves. Weather and health conditions permitting, an outdoor Eid meal will be planned and announced, in shaa’Allah.
